(June 19, 2021, 11:13 am)My Dad has had a few complications leading up to his Triple bypass heart surgery. We called 911 more than a few times. Station 45 always arrived quickly and helped my dad to feel comfortable as they took him to the Hospital. Thank You!!!

Fire station were called to my home here in Lakewood
I was suffering from bad symptoms of Covid 19
I desperately could not catch my breath, I could not breath.
The paramedics just took over. They were calm and got me hooked up and got me to Long Beach Memorial
I can not say enough thanks to station 45 they were the key to saving my life
You guys are Superhero dressed like firemen
I owe you BIG
I hope to see you guys soon to thank you.

(December 24, 2019, 11:25 pm)Fire Station 45 and 49 firefighters are FABULOUS! I called 911 for what turned out to be a creosote fire in my chimney and they responded so quickly! They were in my attic and on the roof checking every corner and everything was under control in just minutes. THANK YOU firemen!!! And Lakewood Sheriff's were right there too! Thank you all for all you do! p.s. Make sure to have your chimneys cleaned if you're using Duraflame logs. And have a fire extinguisher on hand and check your smoke detectors to make sure they are operating properly! You never think this stuff is going to happen to you...and then it does.
