What I like about his style is that it's *exegetical,* AND he is humble, gentle, meek, and trembles when approaching the scripture *in context.* You can tell he studies and prepares.
He doesn't use the pulpit to brag about his credentials and affiliations, nor as a weapon to tear people down or ridicule them. He has a *genuine heart for people* and a strong sense of boundaries.
I feel like he relates to people on a human ("all have sinned") level where other pastors relate from a self-righteous, judgmental level. You will be loved and accepted, and they will pray for you even if you forget to ask.
