  I had a 1.5 hour wait for the vet. So, why would I give it a 5 star visit? Because the vet tech, Nadia, would come in every 10 minutes to give me an update on the emergency surgery the vet had to do that was delaying my scheduled appointment, she brought water for myself and my dog, she came and played with my dog briefly, and was sincerely sorry for the wait. Nadia’s customer service and care is rare. If the vet is caught up in the emergency, the “non emergency” cases are left to just hang, wait, and not feel that they are also important. The very nice vet tech, Nadia, was incredible in her kindness and going above and beyond to communicate.
  
  Yes, the vet, Dr. Landa saw me...he was kind. My dog has kennel cough. He explained the procedure and treatment process including how to wrap your dog in a blanket like a burrito so that I can shoot the medicine into his mouth and not have a fight every time I will be giving meds for 10 days.
  
  I love Primary Care Animal Hospital. They are professional, competent, and a compassionate hospital. So, yes, despite a long wait, they get 5 stars!

  We love this Veterinarian! The staff is friendly and helpful - the doctors are very knowledgeable and take their time with our dogs. I never feel like "a number" - they really care about our animals - like we do! The prices are so much more reasonable than anywhere else! You get million dollar service at bargain basement prices! I won't go anywhere else!

  Dr Kate was patient and kind to our sick dog. She sat on the floor to examine him which made him feel more comfortable. She was knowledgeable of what was going on and compassionate in relaying it to us.

  I started to write about how I found this place, but quickly retracted, because I got real emotional, real fast... So I'll just leave it at that it was when I had to lay my 19 yr old cat down to rest for the last time... The sympathy and compassion they showed.. won me over forever. I have since been bringing my 2nd cat, my dog, and a stray dog, to this place. They are amazing, and affordable. I would (and have) recommended this place time and time again.

  As Always...stellar care for our cherished American Bulldog "Meat". They treat him as a superstar whenever we walk though the door. The best thing about Primary Care? They get right to the point! No milking you/padding the bill with "well...we need to run a test for this...we need to run a test for that" BS like a lot of vets in Long Beach/SoCal. The staff and the doctors are really dedicated to giving you the best care possible. I cannot say the same for some of our previous animal care providers in Long Beach. I always leave with the sense that Meat is getting the best of the best care.
