Long Beach Care Center

My sister was placed here about a year ago. It is the best place she has been in by far. The rooms are larger than most, the staff is wonderful and she has thrived under their care. Not to mention the fact that during COVID, they have kept their residents safe.

I came to tour this nursing home when we were looking for a place for my dad. For a place to impact my family so wonderfully in my dad’s final days the way this place did, says a lot. Especially since we never even got the chance to move him in due to his sudden passing.
The nursing director gave us an unscheduled tour late one evening. The staff were all smiling and said hello in the halls. It was clean, there were no smells, it wasn’t dreary. It was not the typical nursing home you’d imagine, in the best way possible. What made this tour memorable until now is that the director took the time to sit with us and comfort us about our decision to place him in a nursing home and address all of our questions. It was humanizing and stood out from the other tours we had gone on. A nursing attendant was singing with a resident when we were looking at rooms. A housekeeper assisted us with finding the restroom. In the hour interacting with staff at this building, we got more attention and comfort than in our week at the hospital. I think that says a lot about a place. If you have to place the people you love someplace, I would recommend reaching out to this place.

My grandma and I love this skilled nursing facility. The staff is incredibly compassionate for everything they do here. The rooms are bigger than most nursing home rooms and the people are super friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this place for your love ones.

Amazing staff, the nurses are very friendly and respectful. Truly cares to make a difference in their patients life. I would highly recommend this skilled nursing facility to families and friends in need.
