After a CT scan back in 2007 I was told you have a renal mass and we suspect kidney cancer. Thank goodness Dr. DeOrio was on call that day. He operated on me 6 days later, removed the cancerous kidney and saved my life. I've been to 3 other urologists but none met the standard of care of Dr. DeOrio. One just asked how I was and didn't do any tests like a DRE; another had no beside manner; the third said I should make an appointment in 18 months and I asked if I'd still be alive then. I have complete confidence in Dr. DeOrio. His office is state of the art and his staff are wonderful. If you ever need to see a urologist see Dr. DeOrio.
I have a bad kidney stone problem. I have been to a few different urologists and had lithotripsy procedures many times since 2004. My most recent brush with kidney stones included a 12mm stone on my right side and a 10mm stone in my left side. This time, I tried Dr. DeOrio because I was not happy with prior urologists. So glad I did. He has been very attentive. He has gone out of his way, and above and beyond for me. Plus, he was the first urologist who did a urine study on me. As a result, he put me on a simple treatment which has greatly reduced occuramces of kidney stones. He has been a life saver. As a side note, he has great bedside manner and he takes the time to listen to me. He also explains things very well.
when you talk about Cancer, its not the best feeling or experience, Dr DeOrio and his stuff make sure you are well taken care, well informed and Doc will be the first one to tell you, go and explore, ask question to other people, I had prostate cancer and 5 months later I'm cancer free I will talk to anyone that is confused and want an opinion....... you never have to wait more than 5 minutes in the lobby or waiting room .... I have recommended at least 5 people so far to see Dr. DeOrio
