  Very friendly and professional staff. Mrs. Norma is very helpful and Dr Hankins is personable, calm, and informative. I greatly appreciate the service I have received over the years.

  I have been a satisfied patient for for about 18 years. Dr. Hankins is the best dentist I have ever had. He is patient and professional.He attended a great dental school at Howard University. He has saved me money too. The office does a great job in billing my insurance properly. I would refer this office to anyone.

  I hate going to the dentist. My grandma convinced me to go see Dr. Hankin because he's the one who removed some of her teeth when she got her dentures. She said she didn't feel any pain and really liked him. So I made an appointment when a molar on the bottom that used to have a filling broke broke. He let me know that I needed a root canal.
  That immediately freaked me out but it was such an easy process. I heard so many bad things about root canals but it was painless. He didn't use gas on me; he just numbed me up and went to town. The only thing that kind of hurt was the injections of pain meds but he does a little trick so you barely feel the needle going in. In the end both molars on each side needed a root canal because the teeth were decaying under the ceramic fillings that I received as a kid.
  
  A year later he removed 3 of my wisdom teeth. He didn't knock me out. He numbed me up and while I listed to my iPod he got to work. 45 mins later I was home. I only took the Vicodin for 1/2 a day. It wasn't even the tooth pulling that hurt. It was the site of the injections. For some reason one injection area felt like agony but I think it was a nerve. After 1 Vicodin it went away and I didn't need the hardcore meds after that.

  Dental offices are probably my least favorite places in the world which is why finding a great dentist is so important to me. I was reffered to Dr Hankins office by a family member and even though it was a bit of a drive for me, I decided to give them a try. I am very happy to say that I found my new dentist! I went in for a long overdue root canal and though it was going to hurt. Dr. Hankins is a true master of his craft because I didn't feel a thing! The staff in the front were also very nice and professional (offered me water and made sure I was comfortable before and after the procedure) I already booked my next appointment to take care of a few cavities they found. By far the best dentist experience I've ever had
