SoCal Whale Watching

Captian Steve was amazing! He took us to amazing places where we were able to see seals, sea lions, whales upfront. He was very knowledgeable about the marine life. He knew exactly where to go and when. We were able to see three gray whales at the same time! Please don't hesitate to book with captain Steve hes amazing.

We had the most incredible time with SoCal Whale Watching! We saw dozens of dolphins, sea lions, seals and the most amazing up close and personal grey whale encounter!!! While I had considered another company with larger ships, I'm so glad we went with SoCal because we never would've gotten as close as we did to the whale with any other company (check out the pics!). Captain Steve was also very knowledgeable and clearly loves what he does.

We had the best time!!! Capt Steve knew exactly where to take us and remained respectful to the wildlife. We saw fin & grey whales, sea lions, harbor seals and lots of birds. I almost threw myself off the boat in excitement! We definitely didn’t want to come back to the shore 😁 Thanks Steve!

This was a great way to see whales and other wild life. Capt. Steve has a nice boat for a small party. It was perfect for my family of 6. Capt. Steve is in communication with the other whale watchers, including the large boats, and he is super knowledgeable about where best to look to see whales and dolphins. We had great views of grey wales and even saw two mating. We enjoyed just being our family on the boat, but be sure you dress for the weather. Being on the water is much cooler and windier than on land. Highly recommend!

We had a great time with Steve. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We got lucky and saw a whale on our time out on the ocean. He knew a lot about the whale we saw which was great. Our time didn’t feel rushed. I really enjoyed the small group instead of the big boat. It felt more personalized. Definitely recommend!!
