This is a pretty amazing place.
From ET to King Kong to the latest movies. Props used for Universal movies are stored here. Mostly mundane but some very interesting artifacts. Gives you the sense of detail that movies go through to make the movie as realistic as possible. This of course is actually a working Warehouse so set designers actively tag the furniture that they would want for upcoming movies.
Worth the trip. highly recommend
We only got to see old furniture on the first floor. There were some small set ups for design references. There was a very small collection of heron props. I would have liked to see more of the process of props, or something. Felt more.loke a trip to a thrift store.
Every prop in you’ve seen on the “big screen” lives here, including ET! Not open to the general public however. We were able to take a short tour through the warehouse via the Universal Studios Hollywood VIP Experience guided tour.
Such am amazing experience... so neat to go through the prop house at Universal. Seeing all the things built and used, how it’s been used. What a day to be a VIP!
AWESOME!!! This place is so amazing! So many cool things here! The coolest thing that I seen was the call switch board they used in Pretty Little Liars. I also liked seeing all the stuff on hold for upcoming shows. The place is so big too!
