Colibri Yoga Retreats

I want to thank Colibri Yoga Retreats for a fabulous retreat in Sayulita, Mexica this past July 2021. They chose an amazing location for the retreat --- Haramara Retreat Center, where we stayed in luxurious jungle cabanas. We were served delicious and healthy meals and were so well taken care of, certainly beyond my expectations. I appreciate that Colibri Yoga Retreats was able to find such a quality retreat center that clearly cares about the natural environment (no disposable anything!) as well as treating their guests with the utmost care. The yoga classes strengthened my spirit, my soul, and my body. Watching the sun rise over the mountains while class started is a place I return to in my mind daily. Such peace. Three 90-minute classes of different yoga styles were offered each day, catering to everyone's needs. The instructors took the time before each class to set up mats and props. All I had to do was choose a spot. I appreciated the challenges that the classes I attended offered, from breathing, to Vinyassa, to strength and inversion postures, to restorative. They even offered partner yoga on the beach! The teachers' expertise showed through in their dialogue, their modeling of postures, as well as their verbal and/or physical adjustments. Each teacher had a different style of practice/teaching, which made every class a different experience with new insights. They worked beautifully together, each supporting the other during instruction. This created such a harmonious energy. Thank you, CYR!!! I look forward to the next time.

A really fun intense workout! Instructors are high energy and super attentive. It's sweet trying out exercises I've never done before.

Devon Young is an AMAZING teacher. From beginner to advanced, she's got something for everyone. I have particular appreciation for her gift of teaching basic foundational principles in a very clear and supported way, while also offering a challenging practice. The adjustments and options she gives allow you to really explore your practice in a way that's custom for your body. It takes a very nuanced teacher to make simple sequences so rich, interesting, and effective inside and out.

Juliette and Devon are very dedicated yoga instructors. Their love of yoga and people really shines through in their classes. I attended a Colibri Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica in February of 2018. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I couldn't recommend them more.

If you need to take a break from your typical day-to-day routine and give yourself some self-care, you should definitely consider going on a retreat with Devon and Juliette. They provide an amazing schedule of classes at beautiful destinations. An unforgettable experience!
