Franklin's Cafe & Market - Griffith Park

Got the banana oatmeal pancake gone wild per usual. Super rich but delicious. The girlfriend got the salmon Benedict with cold avocado and arugula. Nice and quant spot!

This place is so YUMMY! I am very particular about bacon. I don't like it really salty... which is most bacon.. I asked the server(juan) if the bacon was salty and he went to the kitchen and got me a freshly cooked piece of bacon to try I have never had a server do that for me before. He was very attentive about our waters and coffees. The food was very delicious! Whipped cream tasted homemade and so did guac! I would definitely come back! Also the coffee wasn't bitter. If I could give this place more than 4 stars I would!

And this isn't just any bro/sis. We polished them off, reminiscing about recent good times, plotting future good times and enjoying the only in San Francisco ambiance that is cable cars rolling by.

If my brunch/LA/grandchildren loving grandparents were on Yelp (they are not, they are internet challenged) and read this (they wouldn't, they'd be so endearingly lost), they would no doubt click "cool". Maybe we'll bring them for the inevitable return for dinner. Great spot.

Seriously the BEST eggs Benedict I have ever had!! Homemade hollandaise sauce that was mouth watering!! Coffee tasted amazing and they even offered apple chicken sausage too. Over heard that their French toast was a house favorite! Next time I'm in the city I will be back for brunch!!
