Real Voice L.A.

Just wrapped the Commercial VO Bootcamp with Craig Lee Thomas. Had an absolute blast and learned a ton. I’ve taken other classes around LA that were super helpful, too, but Craig being a VO actor brought real world experience. I learned concepts and tools from him that I had yet to learn anywhere else. Super supportive environment. Cullen, our sound engineer for the class, was amazing and is a talented
VO actor, too. I look forward to taking more classes with Craig and the other instructors at Real Voice LA.

One of my favorite places to work and play! I've taken some wonderful workshops here but my FAVORITE thing about Real Voice L.A. is Mike DeLay! He's been such a delight to know, making me feel incredibly welcome since the first time I came through the door. Last month, when I needed to record a commercial, he was the first person I contacted. Mike came in early to engineer and the remote session was a breeze for both myself and the client. Looking forward to watching this place continue to grow! I'm always grateful for how much Mike supports our little VO community.

Updating this years later to say they still have wonderful classes including online ones via Zoom. As expected they've grown a ton and I'm happy to see it!

Absolutely incredible! I learned more during their three-week intro VO course than I did at a longer class elsewhere. Super friendly knowledgeable staff that not only make the whole experience fun, but you get to actually practice using software and sending in recordings! It's one thing to get experience in the booth (Katie's directing is truly out-of-this-world amazing), but learning how to record and edit at home made such a huge difference for me. I felt stuck before, but now that I've found Real Voice LA the world is my oyster! No matter what kind of recording services you need, these are the people you want to be working with! I’ve taken classes with Real Voice LA for just over a year, off and on. I just keep coming back. I just spent a lot of money from a famous program with another company and it did not give me as much as I get from RVLA. The people here are knowledgeable and kind with zero pretension. They know what is going on in the business right now because they are all working professionals. They treat newbies and seasoned experts with the same respect. They have amazing guest teachers and their regular teachers are wonderful. It’s hard for me to go elsewhere. I love giving these people my money. I get so much in return.

Recently attended an online workout group through these folks...it was easily one of the most enjoyable classes I've taken since I started my voiceover journey a few years ago.
