Griffith Park Pony Ride

I had a birthday party. I arrived 30 minutes before my party to set up and the party before me was still cleaning up, so I only had 10 minutes to set up. They need better clarification on picking up and go time. Otherwise it was great the pony handlers where very helpful and nice. Everything is done at your own pace.

The best place! I've been coming here since i was very small. Now I take my child here. This place has definitely improved since the 90's. Cheap train rides and the pony rides are so fun. The staff are so gentle and kind to the kids. You can tell that they enjoy what they do. It has a huge parking lot and a beautiful open grass area for children to run and blow steam.

Does have public restrooms. But everything else cost to ride the pony or ride the train. it is a nice place to go and not very busy nice take family to area in some shady areas parking is free. Concession here, hot dog, chicken nuggets, Burgers, fries, cotton candy, and little bit more. The tickets are $5 a ticket, one ticket to ride ponies 2 tickets to ride the wagon and $2.35 for seniors for train ride and $3.50 for adults and $3 for kids.

This is a fun place to take your kids to ride ponies. They have three lanes- slow medium fast lanes.
Usually the younger children ride the slower ponies who run on the inside lane. The next speed run is in the middle lane. The fastest horses and riders ride in the outside lane. Great experience for kids who have never been near or seen large animals before. The horses are gentle so they don't mind the riders petting them or touching them.
