(August 9, 2021, 7:52 pm)Looking forward to visiting this in late Oct. I didn't know LA FD had such a far reaching African American firefighter history. My own firehouse in DC was built in 1897 E22 DCFD. I'm a retired African American DC firefighter ( Pentagon on 9/11) who's father is also a retired DC firefighter....( retired in 1976). His age ( he's still going strong,) is 3 figure number.
