It was not on our plan, however we stumbled upon this bakery by chance, while we were on the opposite side of the road on South Main Street.

Even from outside, it had a very inviting look and definitely worth crossing the road to get to it. The selection of cupcakes was not too elaborate, but of the right kind. We picked an assorted box of 4 cupcakes for $17 - carrot cake, dark chocolate, mocha, and vanilla. And it was fresh and yummy!

Also the lady at the counter was very courteous and helped us. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely get them, whenever we are in that area.

Purchased the mini cupcake assortment for my girl friend. Never been here before and wanted to support a black owned business. The cupcakes were really good. Very soft, moist, and flavorful. I’d definitely go back to try more.

We tried Chip Brown’s (Big Man) cupcakes tonight for the first time and wow! Delicious! The coconut rum cupcake is amazing- hint of rum with the fresh coconut. Worth every savory bite. The carrot cake is also fabulous! Can’t wait to try the lemon and the mocha! Want to return for the Mounds coconut! We will be back! Chip himself is as delightful as his cupcakes!

I was craving a cupcake and stumbled upon this place in DTLA. It was my first time and the cashier was very nice and helpful giving me suggestions in which ones are the most popular.

I got the carrot cake and it was yummy! It was thick, super moist, fluffy and filling! The cupcake got me full which I appreciate because it satisfied my craving. It would be nice if the carrot taste was a little stronger, but no complains. ☺️🫶🏽

So these are mini cupcakes, carrot cake, dark chocolate, white cupcakes, which are super moist, fluffy, flavourful and so good. 🥰
They also offer options for gluten free.
Their pastries and cupcakes are well baked and Delicious. Totally worth it.
Staff is nice and friendly. Awesome customer service.
Definitely order these if you're ever in L.A.💗
