The Clara Los Angeles

Pretty decent sized space/spaces to utilize for a video/film shoot or hosted event. Big open center room with surrounding half balcony level. Outside nice older LA architecture (the good ornate kind). Lots of little spaces that can be converted into sets, including old-timey walk-in vault (about elevator size) with sound proofing installed floor, walls. Very nice huge intersting cream or white chandeliers in main room.

Excellent bathrooms (take notice they're individual bathrooms, in case holding larger event; not sure if others than main ones I saw).

Neighborhood little rough looking, mostly vacant, hardly any pedestrians during day. Night may be different story, though I doubt too bad; my experience at day.

Overall for location as set if fits needs from me is a good recommendation, check it out. Manager/owner was a very nice person in general & to work with. :)

I had the honor to work at The Clara, and it is one of my favorite venues in Los Angeles. The Clara is an historic Art Deco space that was previously a bank built in 1923 which is fascinating to me!

It has an art deco but modern look, lots of natural light, and unique custom chandeliers that I am still obsessed about!

Jen, the owner is amazing and was very open to accommodate our needs. which is very important for me as a wedding planner.

If you are looking for a very unique space, go check it out!!

I had a wonderful experience at The Clara. The owners were very warm and caring and made me feel like my goals were as equally important to them as they were for me. I can’t recommend them highly enough. The space is beautiful and the logistics of getting everything I needed to bring in there were a piece of cake. I am definitely going to go back.

The Clara is an absolutely gorgeous space. The owners are so professional and kind we loved working with them. Highly recommend.
