To be fair and highlight the positives and negatives with the hospital I have broken my review down into sections so that they may improve in areas that are unsatisfactory.
While it is always stressful having a family member experiencing a crisis, I felt a lot better about the situation after visiting my family member on several occasions and witnessing the level of professionalism and compassion he was receiving. The facility is clean, staff was polite, respectful and caring and the patients seemed to form an in house “family“ that was very supportive of each other’s recovery. I don’t feel I could have asked for a better facility for my family member to recover in and I was very touched by what I saw. I’m very thankful to all of the staff there.
Updated.
After my mother consented. Doctor Anderson immediately called and explained why he can't contact me. And explained how they were tied by law of patients privacy right. And I have to apologized for being really upset but that s because I didn't know ,all I was told was someone will call me back but no one did.
I also received phone call from miss Teresa, the manager who calmly explained how they can't talk to the family if the patient does not give them a consent.
They also will talk to the nurse to not giving "leave the number. We will call back"
Because not knowing and waiting is painful for the family. I asked them for , in the future, please just be straight forward to the family. But be gentle. They are in the crisis. And will need a little explanation of why can't they get any information.
