  We were searching for a place for our Aunt and Uncle together from a long distance. Our first choice was another home and it was a huge mistake. Then we found Evening Grace and Paul. Paul was so patient and kind. He gave us a face time tour of the Encino Home. The house was clean, we met other residents and the caretakers. Because we were so far away, Paul helped to move them in. At that time my Aunt and Uncle needed help with medications, meals and daily basic hygiene. From the start we could tell how kind Paul, Dang and Raul truly are. We try to visit monthly and have always found the house to be very clean. Bedding clean, clothes clean, and a variety of home cooked food that my aunt and uncle enjoyed. My uncle put on a bit of weight as a result of Dangs good cooking. As they aged and needed more help, we never felt like it was tedious from the crew at Evening Grace. Paul even took my Aunt to vote during The election! In the almost two years we have been with them, we have always felt like our family was completely safe and well cared for. They also bring in entertainment on a regular basis and celebrate holidays together. These decisions are so hard and After a terrible experience with our first choice, i feel we were lucky to find Evening Grace. Thank you ever so much to Paul and Dang and Raul.

  If our family could rate this place more than 5 stars, we would. Our only regret was that we did not find Evening Grace earlier. From the start, Paul was very easy to talk to, and we never felt that he was ever trying to sell us. He was listening to our needs and determining whether this was a good fit for our Dad. He wasn’t simply trying to place him to make a quick buck. This was refreshing given that our last place clearly wanted to sell us services they had financial relationships with. Based on how comfortable we felt upon meeting the staff and working with Paul throughout the placement process, we decided to go with Evening Grace.
  
  When it came to day to day care, Paul’s team did an amazing job taking care of our Dad. The house was always clean, and they always paid attention to our Dad’s ever changing needs (a result of the rare neurological disease our Dad suffered from). Essentially, they took away our worries that our Dad was going to be mistreated or not adequately treated. I remember early on that Paul said that their job was to make caring for our Dad as easy as possible. Evening Grace achieved that and exceeded our expectations on all levels. The compassion from the staff and level of care was unparalleled, and I cannot thank Paul and his team enough.
  
  Evening Grace was slightly more expensive than our Dad’s last place, but the price is definitely worth it given the quality of the care received. Oftentimes if you want quality care for your loved one, you have to pay a little bit more. Based on our Dad’s experience at Evening Grace, I truly believe it was well worth the extra cost given the peace of mind knowing that our loved one was well cared for and being treated with dignity and respect.
