Mar Vista Branch Library

I go to the mar vista branch pretty regularly and it’s always clean and quiet. Also, the staff is pretty nice and happy to you out

My only problem is they open so late, I don’t get to go to the library most days because of my schedule 😭

This is my go to study library on the west side (sorry Weho library). Before 3pm on weekdays, you can sit in the teen section which has plenty of outlets. I’ve been going in the mornings almost daily for almost two months I think and it’s always quiet. A lot of people bring kids here for story time and whatnot too.

Small and quiet. This library has a small free parking lot with a guard out front. The librarians are nice too! Unfortunately they don't seem to have enough room compared to other libraries which causes most of their used books section to be kept hidden behind closed doors.

Service is great! The ambiance is quiet.

My experience with the staff has been very pleasant. Today I thought I lost my keys and even though nobody turned them in when I asked, one of the librarians took my name and phone number just in case someone found them. The only downside that one may see is the library's bathroom doors stay locked and you have to get the keys from the circulation desk.
