My brother went to design for recovery. He had been in and out of multiple sober livings the past 5 years. It wasn’t until he went to design that he was finally able get clean and stay clean. The staff there really care and we’re extremely invested in my brothers recovery. Thank you guys for giving me my brother back!

Design for Recovery was a God send. It saved my life. David and his awesome staff are the main reason why I have the life I have today. I was dropped on their doorstep with nothing but a hope and a dream to one day live a normal life free of drugs and the dark-arts associated with them. They accepted me with open arms and a hot meal. They made me feel at home right away, which is a huge reason why I stayed to see their program through. Design for recovery was more than a sober living facility for me; it was a blueprint on how to live life on life's terms and be ok with that. Fast forward to today and I am nearly 2 years clean and sober, my bank account has commas, I drive something foreign I cant pronounce and my smoke-show of a girlfriend cant get enough of me. I went from shot beans to CEO, all thanks to David, Derek, Drew and the rest of the staff at Design for Recovery. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Design for Recovery provided me with more than just a safe and structured environment to get clean and sober. It gave me an opportunity to grow as a man. For nearly 20 years I struggled with drug and alcohol addiction. Removing drugs and alcohol was only the first step of a long process to instill discipline, honesty, integrity and hope into a broken and unmanageable life. Design For Recovery taught me the importance of personal accountability, hard work, humility, selflessness and brotherhood—that helping others is just as vital to recovery as taking care of myself. Furthermore, Design For Recovery taught me that the seemingly trivial tasks I used to neglect—making my bed, showing up on time, taking direction with an open mind—add up to a productive and meaningful life.

My life has purpose, value, and direction today, something I accredit to Design Foe Recovery and the men who saw those things in me all along when I couldn’t see them in myself. I was once a hopeless drug addict destined for jail and an early grave. Today, I work in recovery and live a life of principle, with 18 months clean and sober. It is a gift of recovery that simply would not be possible if not for my time at Design for Recovery.
