(June 8, 2018, 6:24 pm)This is a very welcoming dojo with a highly knowledgeable founder and lead instructor. All instructors are wonderful to work with. We take to the mat with rolls, grips, and throws, as well as weapons training with bokken and jo. Inviting international group.

(July 22, 2017, 12:10 pm)That Chris Duran reviewer is a crazy person with some issues. Something wrong with him. I know people in LA who know him and he only wrote that review because he has no money and trying to change policies to accommodate himself and tries to never pay for anything. He also was never any good at learning so they told him to keep practicing, he was so bad I heard from his friends. He also doesn't read contracts and he has gone to 4 different martial arts dojos in the area and did the same reviews. The guy is nuts. I heard amazing things about this dojo and its very much 1:1 training, not sensei and 30 trainees. It is a close group i hear and they advance you quickly if you are not dumb and cannot learn like that Duran guy. That guy just cannot afford to have luxuries like martial arts training or a car.

He brings top level Aikidokas to our community from all over the world in order to present his students broader view of the subject and to build stronger bond withing Aikido community in U.S.

(January 28, 2014, 10:16 pm)There is a strong presence of Chi felt through and through around Sensei Jacyna, an honorable teacher of the very elegant yet extremely effective Kobayashi Aikido. He continues to be a mentor and a great source of inspiration in both my life and Aikido practice. Highly recommended for an aspiring martial artist looking for the True Path or a seasoned Aikidoka ready to take their practice to a whole new level. Be prepared, as this may very well be a journey of your lifetime.
