(November 21, 2016, 3:21 pm)The oldest public school in Southern California. Founded in 1873, the school has been at the Olympic and Rimpau celebrating 100 years in 2017. The school also houses the STEM MAGNET program which when you compare to other STEM programs test scores they excel. They have many programs at LA HIGH that werent available when I was student here. I am a proud Alumni of 1988 and I am proud to say my daughter is currently a student here at LA High also who will graduate in 2018. Many things have changed but their are many programs that are offered at LA. Looking at these reviews, I would say that you would have to check out the the school yourself, not all schools are for everyone. I definitely recommend their Magnet program.
