Ok here we go:
~ Get the hot wings. They’re made fresh and if you’re a saucy gal like me, you’re going to love the hot boss sauce. Tangy, sweet with some spice! Don’t even mess with mild. You can handle it and will love it!
~ The seasoned fries are exactly what you want them to be and a side order is huge! Enough to share with another! Will need to try one of their loaded fries next!
~ The classic burger hit all the right spots. Mine had a massive slice of red onion that seemed daunting at first but it worked so well. That bun is perfection!! The only thing is I asked for medium (love that they ask how you want it cooked) and it was cooked a bit more than that.
Can’t wait to go back and try more!!
If you want original flavored wings. This is the place! Not your typical wing stop or wild wing who all have the same 10 flavors. This has to be the best wings I've ever had. The Sauce is delicious, and lot of meat on every drum, and wing. I definitely can't wait to come back..
The wings from CJ's are large, juicy, and have great flavor. They are breaded, which I'm normally not a fan of, but these wings have great flavor and the breading holds up to the sauce with firmness and crunch. There are two sauce options (mild or hot) or you can get them plain. I went with the "hot," which had a kick but wasn't overly spicy. It's not quite a buffalo sauce, not quite a spicy barbecue, but it is really delicious. They give you plenty of sauce on the wings, no dry spots. The French fries were crispy and flavorful, even after the 7m drive to my house in a box and plastic bag. Overall I was really pleased with the meal and I'd recommend this place.
For some reason wasn’t expecting much out of the visit to LA, but they proved us all wrong instantly they were very kind and loved to share the backstory of their restaurant. Service was great and food was just as good. Opened my taste for East Coast style wings. I’m all for them expanding their franchise. You should definitely stop by for great wings. Make sure to ask for extra hot.
Weekend getaway and cancelled our fancy dinner reservations. Felt like some wings. Not wings but waaangs, and oh boy did we come to the right place. Ordered a 10 piece of mild wings. No wait around dinner time on a Saturday evening. Cooked to order. Flavorful, meaty, and perfect texture. I’m craving the sauce even one week later. Should’ve purchased some of their bottled sauce. Come support this black-owned business. You won’t be disappointed.
