I grabbed a guitar lessons, group sessions/classes, since I am a kid I'm a music lover and I really love to play music using guitar. This place is awesome their teachings are really interesting and I learned a lot, it does not took long for me to play a guitar. With some other music studio, I got bored, book by book but I didn't learn how to play a guitar, it's like it's getting hard and hard for me to learn that time. All in all Studio2628 is the best place I have, its an opportunity to be one of their student. Thank you!!

I'm hard to teach. I mean like, really, really, hard to teach. Especially something that takes a lot of me. Give me a math equation, no problem, give me a creative problem and I've been known to cry and rage. not kidding, I can be a holy terror of a student. If Ashton isn't the most patient man in the world, he ranks right up there in the top 10. Ashton is pure encouragement.
I've taken other voice lessons and Ashton's teaching is the best. He will give you scales to do at home which is an absolutely vital step in the process of learning how to use your voice. He takes an interest in the growth of your voice and, most importantly, he pays attention and listens.
the last thing I'll say is that Ashton does student showcases which are about the most fun I have every six months. He encourages students to get onstage in front of friends and family and sing a song along a theme. He'll pick your song for you if you like but me being the control freak that I am, always have to pick my own.

If you are interested in learning how to sing or want to improve your singing at a totally affordable rate, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO TO.

I've loved singing for most of my life and even tried taking lessons with two different coaches (both quite expensive) in the past, but it wasn't until I began taking voice lessons at Studio 2628 that I noticed significant improvement. Of course, you have to do your part by practicing the way you are instructed to do so, but as long as you keep up with it you will begin to hear and feel a difference.

Back in the day, I played some shows with a little band. I remember struggling to reach (at the time) high notes, and I would painfully barely reach them. No matter how much I practiced, I would just end up remaining frustrated with myself. The worst part was, the more I practiced my voice would end up cracking and it hurt. Once Ashton taught the correct way to sing and practicing his techniques, I am now able to reach notes MUCH higher than before without pain, and I can go on singing for a long time. Actually, singing longer is much more beneficial now, as it improves my tone AND IT DOESN'T HURT.

Another great thing about taking lessons with Ashton is that my singing has become much more versatile. Before I had limited myself to solely rock (which I still love). Thanks to the proper technique I've now learned, I can sing songs of other genres which makes this art a lot more fun as you can play around with other styles.

I have been taking lessons here for almost 3 years, and I will continue to do so until I can't anymore (hopefully that doesn't happen). Even after learning the basics of the technique Ashton teaches, there's still so much more room to grow. He will kindly and patiently push you towards your singing goals.

Where do I even begin? This place deserves a trillion stars but that isn't available on yelp yet. This studio is the most amazing place I've ever had the opportunity of being a part of. This studio has completely changed my life and transformed me as an artist and a person. When I began here 5 years ago, I was just a girl who loved to write music. So much has happened since then and it is all thanks to Ashton and Studio 2628. I'm no longer that shy girl who was scared to sing, self conscious, doubtful, terrified of the stage. This studio is so much more than just vocal lessons. They specialize in artist development! I use to hide behind my guitar and mic stand. Now I know how to move on the stage and captivate the audience! We do vocal lessons, make music videos, take professional photos for marketing, make social media pages where people can hear my music. It is like Disneyland for musicians and artists.
If you are serious about becoming an amazing singer this is the place for you! It is more than just a music studio and they do more than just teach you how to sing. They teach you the proper technique so that you voice can last and last and last. Through my own personal experience with Studio2628 I've learned how to respect my talent and voice, how to feel confident in my gift. How to execute that talent! How to get out of hiding behind my guitar and conquer the stage! It is the most amazing place ever!
My favorite part about the studio is our yearly shows. There is always a theme and all the students in the studio get to take part in a showcase! The studio rents out a facility and we have awesome fun rehearsals and killer performances where all of our friends and family get to see how much we progress. Best part is I've made tons of lifelong connections in the process. The most amazing group of artists and friends! This place is my heaven. It changed my life. I'm so courageous and brave, confident and daring all because of this amazing place.
If you want to reach the stars, Studio 2628 can take you there. And it's super affordable compared to other vocal places. AND THEY ONLY TEACH YOU VOCALS!!! $80 an hour for someone to just teach you scales and not go over how to do any other development?! No thanks! I'm going with the pros at Studio 2628. It will be the best move you've ever made! I promise.
