  I go to school here as of now, a Sophomore (10th grade) student. And I plan on going here the rest of my high school. When I was just in 8th grade at a school too horrible to be named, I had already looked forward to going here and constantly begged my mom to enroll me here. I'll forever be thankful for the education that this school gave, is giving and will be giving me. Education is a possession one will carry for the rest of her or his life. Although any form of education is laborious (Heritage too because it's a college prep) I want as much education for myself as possible. The teachers care for me as though I am their own child. You reach out to them, and they will try to help. I feel more than comfortable going here. It's my own personal Disneyland. Also, as a Christian I learn more and more about God and Jesus and am taught consistently how to get closer to them.

  I gave 4 stars to this school based on their rich academic program, sports, experienced teachers, and knowledgeable office staff. Penney working particularly in the office I consider a great asset to this school. My child attended here in middle school mainly; and although she was telling me that there is a racial issue, I was thinking that could be a little exaggerated until I took a trip with her and her class to Washington D.C. As an adult, for the first time in my life, I witnessed first-hand a tense racial attitude and discrimination. This came not only from students but also from some of their parents traveling with us. I also witnessed first hand a wonderful parent of a current student in the class who belonged to a minority group in America, who was in tears a couple of times for the same issue. She regretted deeply participating in the trip for such a disrespectful and unkind attitude she was getting from the students was really painful to her. She promised she would address this to school administration. The impression I got was painful, not that it influenced me in any other way than I was witnessing, but for the kids having that kind of mentality, attitude, and big time ignorance toward fellow American citizens. However, Mr. Tooley, makes that school's atmosphere much brighter. May God bless him and his wife as well. Coming back to the subject, I don't even want to bring up the fact that the school is Christian, and the meaning of core Christianity is Love. I'm just amazed that just on a human level, soul and spirit, I would encounter such hatred, unjustified mean behavior, and poorness of mind at such a young age. This account is absolute truth without any intention of exaggeration; but again we're hoping for betterment in the future.

  I couldn't be happier as a parent of a child at the south campus of this school. It is a Christian eviroment with a strong religious emphasis. The school is small enough that the students still get to know the teachers. Yet it is big enough that all the usual extracurricular activities are available. The academic program seems on par with the other private schools in the area and better than LAUSD. The kids are well behaved for the most part. The staff nurtures and cares for the kids. The tuition is more than reasonable at less than $10000 for the 2015-16 year.
