We hired Scott Yi to paint the exterior of our main house and guest house, both of which are 2 stories. He did the best job I have ever seen (in my 69 years) of preparation before applying primer and 2 coats of paint.
For wood surfaces he sanded, filled, and repaired as needed -- working carefully around both structures, not missing even the smallest crack, ding, or hole. Several small areas of dry rot got thorough attention, with all the damaged wood removed and either replaced or filled.
For stucco he cleaned and filled about a dozen 1/8" cracks, and blended the texture so well that now I cannot see where the cracks were, even though I have photos for reference.
We had our rain gutters replaced at the same time, and Scott came back after the job was done to touch up minor damage caused by the gutter work.
Scott has a good eye for color, and was able to match our old custom mix without difficulty. He was neat and careful every day on the job, and left nothing behind for us to clean up.
Besides the painting, he also replaced 4 sections of damaged composite shingles on the ridge lines composite of our roof, giving us several extra years of service before it needs to be replaced.
