Griffith Park Trails

Parked in the H lot for free parking, before going up to the observatory parking. We took the long trail to get the the Hollywood Sign the shorter way to get to the Hollywood sign is parking up in the observatory parking and there’s a path that starts from there. But either way the views we got on our trail was unforgettable. Will be coming back to go throw other trails and explore different views and spots. But it’s nice that it’s all free and you can take your dog with you.

Beautiful hike with a fantastic view of Los Angeles. The entire trail was plush green thanks to the recent rains. Hike was challenging but easy enough for most people to make the trek. Bring some money so you can enjoy the Griffith observatory at the top of the trail.

I've hiked here for 6 years, exploring all sides. I love that it contains everything from challenging to easy. I see people with their PCT gear practicing for their adventures. I see elderly couples strolling hand in hand. Lots of variety in the middle of Los Angeles

The Riverside trail starts out steep but levels out right after you turn the first corner and has panoramic views of Downtown LA, the Greek Theater and Griffith Observatory. Plus, lots of flowers in the spring. The trail is well-maintained and wide as a dirt road. Great for large groups hiking together.

One of my favorite hikes in Los Angeles. Easlly accessible with free parking, amazing views of the city and a good solid workout. This is not a casual stoll, though.
