We bought a 3-month old peach-face lovebird and an 8-month old parrot from Quetzal bird shop. It was a wonderful experience. The owner was kind, patient, knowledgable and taught us how to continue to handle and care for the birds so they would be tame and healthy. He hand-fed raised them and they are clearly happy and very well-cared for along with all the other birds in his shop. You can tell the owner loves what he does and has a passion for it. He taught us how to tell male from female lovebirds. Since we bought multiple birds he gave us extra discounts on the cages and even threw in an extra bag of bird seed for us. I will absolutely return to this place for any additional birds we may want in the future. Highly recommend!!

A small local bird shop - not the boutique-style exotic bird shop that you find in many places nowadays. However that’s not without it’s benefits! The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. We got highly personalized service and learned a lot about birds. When I’m ready for a bird that might be the place that I get it from. Great prices too!

Bought my pineapple green cheek conure here, a bit pricey and the pet shop is very small. They have tamed and handfed birds.
