It is a shortcut over the hill to get to my home. I love the serenity and green lively plants and fields of green yards.
One of the few times I've been lost not lost; the map said it was the continuation of Lathrop St. but it was just a trail through the scrub, challenging enough without a cane. The views are spectacular, the San Gabriel Valley on one side, the LA Basin on the other. But it was getting late and my internal alarm went off, saying that I'd better explore myself out of the depths before it got much darker; i found a path down but you either run crazily or walk carefully, down, which i did. Eventually found myself on Pullman St., to a chorus of pit bulls barkingbut i had crossed the park! At Dusk!
Dope spot be sure your 4×4 wheel drive is working and have fun in this place. My brother Rick got us stuck in mud once. Be safe. Enjoy!
Nice view and solid place to go with the boys. People say great place to take your car and do ????'s but beats me I got FWD. Place should look more appealing and might turn to picnic area in a few years
Hidden away gem in the city if you're looking for somewhere with a view. All roads lead to a hill with a nice view of the city. I advise walking up here. There's a number of ways to get to the top of the hill. I parked on collis and burns. You could drive up there BUT only if you have a durable 4x4 vehicle or truck. There was a utility truck that couldn't make the drive still stuck out there as of this review.
