(June 11, 2018, 2:01 pm)Two years ago, I bought an old Honda CM450e for a thousand dollars on eBay. After spending more than two thousand dollars at another shop that failed to get the vintage bike into proper condition, I took it to Marco at El Diablo on the advice of a friend. Since then, he's rebuilt the carburetors, overhauled the electrical harness, repaired the exhaust system, fixed the front and rear brakes, replaced my rear fender, and added a new taillight and directionals. He did all of this expertly, efficiently, and quickly, charging me far less than I expected to pay. Not only is his work superb, but Marco did a number of things that never found their way on to my bill - tightening the odd bolt here and there to stop an oil leak, checking and cleaning the spark plugs, inspecting the sprocket teeth and drive chain, filling my tires and eyeballing the fork seals. Most importantly, Marco is soft-spoken, laid back, knowledgeable, patient, and friendly.
