  I was raised on excellent Jewish deli food in Chicago and Miami Beach; continued here in LA. So, I have some experience. I tried the matzo ball soup.
  
  Broth weak (lacking deprth of chicken flavor) - add some fresh dill, 4 thin carrot slices and two very small pieces of chicken and a better than average matzo ball - OK. Veery small bowl for $8.50 + $3 because I asked for a slice of bread (normally free with soup).

  Love this place. Excellent...EXCELLENT Chicken wings!! Best I’ve ever had! Consistently excellent service and awesome vibe. Great addition to the Palisades.

  First time at this new pub restaurant. Loved the interior, more spacious outdoor seating, but the say we went it was raining so we were seated inside at a very comfy booth. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We ordered burgers and they were delicious! Real ingredients, grilled perfectly and they brought my 3 yo son's mac and cheese out first (which was really well thought a proactive of them) We had an amazing experience, and we are definitely going back. Note that all the sides are a la carte, which can make the meal overall pricey, and the indoor space is small and cozy but can get busy and loud pretty fast.

  We stumbled over to Hanks after having walked around the shops and realized we were hungry, so our expectations were admittedly not that high, but this place turned out to be a hidden gem. Quick and friendly service and astonishingly good burgers - among them the ’impossible burger’ which tastes like meat although it isn’t. If you’re in the area, try this place and thank me later.
