Nice hike with lots of art. I went down what seemed like a thousand steps and saw a lot of old, historic architecture. Rumor has it that there were plans to make this a self-sustained farm and build a four-story mansion. Anyways, you have to park on the streets. It’s free and not that far from the entrance of the trail. All the nice views are in the beginning where you’re able to see the Malibu and Santa Monica coastline. Fun hike.

I went in not knowing about the history and was really curious how the site ended up like this until I googled it after! The spots are interesting and there is a lot of well done graffiti (and some not so well done graffiti). It wasn't too crowded and the hiking/walking aspect wasn't difficult. Going down the stairs can make you a little dizzy though!

Although a lot has become inaccessible and cleaned up, still a really nice place to visit. Good hike to see graffiti art that doesn't actually ruin the experience since it's on man-made construction anyway. Start of the hike is a quite a bit aways from parking area, which is just residential streets. Make sure to check street signs for parking rules. Glad I was able to see this place before all the changes were made for safety purposes.
