Haddon Avenue STEAM Academy

I attended Haddon back in the early 2000's and often think about how much fun i had as a child at this school, so many memories. However I checked the staff and realized my 4th grade teacher Mrs. Rebenczuk still teaches here. Of all the teachers, she was the one i feared the most. There is a difference between being a strict teacher and a bully, and she was a bully that often made me feel worthless and cry in front of the class. Had it not been for my mom stepping up to her i would of spent all my 4th grade cowering in fear at the back of the class. I hope she has changed and no longer picks on children and picks her favourites that she keeps at the front of the class while she isolates the ones she doesn't to the back and neglects to teach them. Something she always did too was talk to us about her doctor telling her her urine was always so clear. Keep those types of flexes to yourself m'am. I will never forgive her for all the pain she caused me as a child

I was a great school and whoever said that people bully you your wrong everyone is nice and you can make a lot of friends. A friend that I made was a girl named Reney N. (Sorry if I spelled your named wrong) I miss her but her photos is in the yearbook. I miss Haddon and my Culmination.

This is an amazing school. It has been a while since I've been there. I am in High School now, I had so many wonderful memories here.

My kids enjoyed this school. I totally recommend it they have so many activities, my favorite was the music class. I love the culture, the environment very clean and happy and colorful environment in this school. Mr. Valdemar is great teacher. Office Staff always helpful and friendly great job guys keep up the great work!! My daughter will miss coach Nidia she has a big heart for kids♥️

I've been involved with Haddon Ave Elementary School since my oldest daughter (who is currently in 3rd grade) started Pre K at their onsite early child development center. I can tell you from personal experience that Mr Ramos has turned Haddon into one of the premier K-5 schools in the entire Valley of San Fernando. I challenge you to schedule a visit with the Main Office, attend Open House, sit down with Mr Ramos at his morning coffee meetings with parents or if you don't have the time, browse their top notch website (which Mr Ramos updates) and see for yourself how much pride, respect and intelligent the students are. I have the honor of having 2 daughters that are Gold Award recipients and are heavily involved in the Workcraft Rangers Mariachi Program which many said couldn't be done at this level. I'm also fortunate and very pleased with EVERY single teacher that my daughters have been a part of. Those that are negative towards the school don't really know that Haddon is the only school East of the 405 to have a STEAM program. And those that are also negative towards the school should get more involved or simply make an appointment with Mr Ramos because he listens, is from the area and cares deeply about improving Haddon in every subject as well as keeping it safe every day and that makes Haddon a great place for kids to go to school. I wouldn't have my daughters attend any other school. My daughters love saying that they attend Haddon!
