  What an incredible 5 years! This place is awesome. Both me and my dad had units here and i got to say, I couldn’t recommend ANY other place. The Ventana is HOME. They take really good care of the residents, they helped me if i had ANY issues at all and was treated like family. I NEED to recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to live in Playa Vista. PV literally has everything you need and the surrounding as well. You’re so close to everything that suits you. Unfortunately i had to leave after 5 years to be closer to work, I wish i didn’t have to, but thats how it goes. Please schedule a tour and look at both the 6565 building, and the 7225 building. I'll miss this place and Playa Vista while I'm moving up in my career, I do hope to return someday if life brings me back! Take care current and future residents and staff!!

  I moved into the Ventana Phase 2 (6565) in July of 2017. I have to say I have really been pleasantly surprised. I was a little worried after reading some of the previous reviews on different websites but after living there for a bit of time I feel comfortable with writing about my great experience.
  
  Jonathan and the team in the front office have been amazing. They have been very accommodating and mostly available. They had some office people that didn't go out of their way for the residents but those people have been replaced. The current crew is great.
  
  When you submit a work request often someone comes Same Day! That type of service has been amazing.
  
  It has been really quiet. I don't hear my neighbors and there haven't been any parties around me. I am above the main clubhouse and only 2 times I have heard the music pounding below but both ended around 10pm.
  
  The property is clean and nice. The Pools are taken care of and the workout room is very nice. You can do a lot there.
  
  The mail situation is pretty good as well. I think I had one package stolen, but that was a one off experience so far. I just plan my packages to not stay out in front of my apartment overnight.
  
  The parking is nice and 99% of time there is a guest spot for my brother ... or one on the street for sure.
  
  You can walk to the Playa Vista "downtown" area in 15-20 minutes. It's a nice walk.
  
  All in all, after being a bit nervous coming into the building, I have been thrilled with my experience so far and want to extend my lease. I am a very picky and particular person with where I live, and I would recommend the Ventana to anyone.

  My wife and I have lived at the Ventana for a little over two years and have loved every bit of it. The units are nice and the amenities are hard to match, with the 24-hour gym, pool, clubhouses and they'll even coordinate access to other Playa Vista amenities (Centerpointe Club and The Resort).
  
  The maintenance crew are all super friendly, quick to respond and repair and seem genuinely happy to help. The area is absurdly dog-friendly and our pooches have loved the access to the large lawns directly in front of the building. It's a little suburban oasis in the middle of L.A.
  
  Lastly, the staff in the leasing office are amazing. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. Don't want to get too much in detail, but they really take it upon themselves to improve the residents' lives. Danette, Jonathan, and Yolanda have been amazing.
  
  If you're looking to rent in Playa Vista, this is the place, as others have mentioned the size/quality of the units is better than other buildings and they don't nickel and dime you with outrageous deposits or fees for extra parking spaces.

  I have lived here for a year and recently renewed my lease. The Ventana is great. I looked at other apartment complexes in Playa Vista, and they were smaller and more expensive. Here, I get more square foot per dollar, and I have lots of amenities - laundry in unit, gym and pool in the building, parking, and lots of windows and natural light. There's a lap pool around the corner, and it is a quiet, friendly, safe community.
  The Ventana is dog friendly, and there are several dog parks in the neighborhood. The office team loves my pup, and gives him lots of treats all the time. (He also loves it here.) The office team goes out of their way to be responsive to residents' needs and treats everyone with kindness (even when it's not reciprocated).
  Playa Vista is an expensive place to live, but everywhere in LA is these days. At least here, I can walk everywhere - Whole Foods, the dry cleaners, dinner - and all while walking the dog. I've lived in Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach, and this place is much closer to the freeways while still being a hop, skip, and a jump to the ocean and the Strand.
  Definitely recommend The Ventana.

  I love living at The Ventana Apartments! I just signed my 5th lease and couldn't be happier. My children love it! We feel safe, the building is well maintained and our maintenance requests are always answered quickly and with the best results. The management has been fabulous to work with and they have taken really good care of us - being very considerate of our needs. Our neighbors are kind and friendly. You cannot beat the location! We have no plans to leave and feel right at home at The Ventana Apartments!
