Excellent customer service, excellent products. I have an older, but still functional, security system for my RV and my remote had stopped working. I thought, oh, no big deal, I'll just take it to the shop that installed it 25 years ago, they're still open, not a problem, right? Wrong.
"Oh, we're sorry, we don't carry remotes for THOSE systems, they're too old. Why don't we just go ahead and upgrade your system with all these new features?"
So I ask him how much. He wanted 800 dollars. I told him no way since my alarm works just fine, I just need a remote. I bet they don't carry the old remotes just so they can do that.
Looking for a remote was almost impossible for my old system. Honestly I think that the companies do that on purpose so that you are forces to upgrade. Well, not with these guys. They had the exact remote in stock that I couldn't find anywhere else online. (Admittedly I'm older and not the greatest at searching) Shipping was fast and when I got the remote they included printed instructions on how to get everything to work. I got a little confused at one point, so I called the company and a man named Dennis talked to me and helped me get it all working. Overall I give this company a 5 star just for the customer service alone, let alone the selection of discontinued remotes as well as how easy it all was.
I live on the East Coast, but I have dealt with this company twice for upgrading the entertainment system in my motor home. They offer excellent personalized customer service and fast delivery service. I would heartily recommend ABS Auto Security and RV Services.
