(June 23, 2016, 12:50 pm)My mom fought me like crazy about going into a retirement "home"... She kept saying things like "your shipping me off", and "that just a place for old people to go die"... Almost every day since she has been there she tells me how much she loves it. I can honestly say that I can not ever remember my mom being this happy.. She loves it and the staff is a huge part of the reasons why. I am so thankful my mom is living life as it should be at this stage in her life, thanks to The Village
