Ms. Virginia Whitehead was my piano teacher in the 70's and taught me well enough to earn many awards to the point where I could have made it to Julliard if I wanted. But most importantly, she taught me self confidence and determination to do well in life. I am still in contact with her and continue to play the piano. She is an awesome teacher!

I've been a student of Ms. Whitehead since February of 2012 and can honestly say that Ms. Whitehead has had a huge impact on me and my perspectives in both music and in life. She doesn't just teach her students how to understand and play music, but she makes the effort to connect with them, creating the foundation for music to grow within the student. Since learning with Ms. Whitehead, I've not only grown in the pieces I've mastered, I've also learned to form an appreciation for all the different elements of music on a deeper level. Ms. Whitehead puts in 110% of her self in every student and each lesson, and it definitely shows through the quality of music and students produced. Learning with Ms. Whitehead was one of the best decisions I made!
