  When they say "low pay, miserable conditions, and more" they weren't kidding (they get you with the AND MORE part) but all in all I did benefit tremendously from this program. provided me with an insight to where I can head to in life and helped pay for some of my tuition expenses. I am grateful to have been mentored by some of these individuals. proud Crew 32.

  The only Description of The California Conservation Corp is from what I've seen on T.V. When there is a dis aster happening either locally or throught the country. For exampl All of our Wild Fires we've been having throught California and elsewhere.
  For years I've thought of giving back to Mother Earth. And bottom line giving back to our community, state and country. I feel very blessed to live in the States. I would hate for our children. Our children's children and their children's children. To not be able to enjoy our National Parks, Mountain and
  Beaches. To not have a opportunity to learn about all aspects of the outdoors while having a opportunity to educate others in our communities throught out our country the importance helping others during times of crisis. And from what els I can tell. So many other things like prevention.

  The CCC in the City of Los Angeles is a GREAT opportunity for young adults between the ages of 18 to 25 years old. The L.A. and Norwalk locations have great Staff that truly care about your needs and your future plans. They will train you, educate you, and on top of that they will give you scholarships for FREE!!! Where can you go to an organization where you will be able to work in many different environments. You will work in the mountains, beaches, national parks, local parks, freeways, in the inner city, and respond to any natural disaster emergency through out the State of California. You'll work 8 hours a day / 40 hours a week, and attend school / trainings in the evenings. You'll get PAID, TRAINED, EDUCATED, and FREE SCHOLARSHIPS!!!!!!!
