  Today was my first visit and the food,staff and atmosphere was wonderful!! I had chicken and waffles! Delicious and fun. And the waiter was easy in the eyes!!

  I ordered turkey sausage, grits and scrambled eggs. Food was good. Oh I can not forget about their homemade biscuits with the peach cobbler preserve, soooooo good. Good service. I wish the location was a little bigger but overall amazing food.

  Vegetarian review!
  Absolutely loved the hell out of the carrot cake! The icing is delightfully thick with a savory sweet aftertaste that goes very well with the thickness of the cake that is well balanced in that it is not too sweet and lends itself to the spices instead of relying on sugary sweetness for flavor. Walnuts abound in this cake and add a welcome bite to the cake. I'm also excited about the lack of raisins in this cake as I find it tends to make carrot cake very mushy and overly sweet.
  
  I also had the vegetarian omelette which was delightful but what really stopped the show for me food wise was the grits! My experience with grits was previously just Cracker Barrel and full of disappointing watery sand gruel.... I'm so glad I took the plunge here at M'Dears as the grits were fluffy and buttery with a thick consistency reminiscent of rice pudding.
