  Bolton Hall Museum is Los Angeles City Historic Monument #2. The museum has exhibits on the history of Sunland, Tujunga, Shadow Hills, Lake View Terrace and Sun Valley. Open to the public on Sunday and Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. There is no admission fee.

  Community multipurpose Hall of an early California Utopian community (one of the Little Landers communities) founded in the 1920s to encourage a certain philosophy of a harmonized community, owning land and living with nature. Abundant historical resources about the Monte Vista community which eventually became Sunland are on site to read and view, as well as local crafts and products by area artisans. There is a small playground adjacent for the kiddie set. On site volunteers to explain things and it’s part of the Passport to History circuit.
