  Laura Lasky is one of the best coaches in Hollywood. She has a deep understanding of all acting methods, and she does not believe that “one style fits all”. She works tirelessly to help you figure out what works best for YOU! I grew up coaching with Laura throughout my career as a child actor. As I aged, I grew into new roles. This transition from kid to teen, and then teen to adult, is very difficult for most kids to make on the screen. Laura helped coach me through these transitions, adjusting my methods and enhancing my skills to better adapt to the new roles I was auditioning for.
  Laura is one of the few coaches who will do anything in her power to help you succeed. She offers last-minute Skype coaching, self-tape coaching, and will even call you the day of a big audition to remind you what you went over in your session. She comes recommended by top actors and colleagues, but she is the most down to earth person you will ever work with. I cherish all my years working with Laura Lasky, and highly recommend her to any actor looking to find the right method for them.

  Laura is funny, supportive and always there for me. More importantly she’s a great acting coach who truly wants you to succeed. Her techniques for memorization, crying on cue and script work, have made acting easier and that much more fun for me. I am so grateful that I was able to work with Laura and for everything she’s taught me. She is truly a one of a kind acting coach and if you have the privilege of working with her, please do! You won’t regret it!

  Laura is an amazing acting coach for kids. My tween aged son loves working with her. She takes the time to really get to know you and identifies what your strength and weaknesses are and tailors her lessons to your needs. She really brings out the best in your acting. She is definitely the best private acting coach when it comes to really personalizing what you need as opposed to many who just do the same thing with everyone who walks through the door.

  I've wanted to leave a glowing review of Laura's "Quit Acting" for awhile, but could never come up with the words to describe it all. After this whole time, I'm still speechless, I still can't describe it, but I have to stand up for it. It has (& will continue to) change the way I act, for the better.
  
  She's oft told me, regardless of who I study with (including her), if it makes acting more fun - great! If it doesn't - it wasn't meant for me. I'm sure the same would apply for you. :)

  My 2 kids took classes at one of the big acting studios. Then their agent recommended they take lessons with Laura. Their luck changed. They have more confidence, are happy after auditions, and book jobs . Laura’s method to stop acting made all the difference. They are more natural and themselves. Her memorization technique is brilliant. The kids say it’s easier, faster, and more fun. She knows their strengths and weaknesses. She teaches them how to make their own choices, and to trust themselves. Somehow Laura always makes time for audition preparation, even if it comes in last minute. She’s wonderful with self tapes that get results. On several occasions, she skyped on her vacation. She truly cares. My kids say some acting teachers are boring, but they love Laura so much, that when kids ask who their acting teacher is, they make up a name. They want her all for themselves!
