Such high quality and original art. Obviously there are some pretty bad reviews about the owners getting upset about people taking photos, but I totally agree with the owner and think it’s not okay to take photos. It’s like walking into an art gallery that clearly says no photos and pulling out your camera.. just not okay. Respect the artist and if you like the art so much support the artist-buy something and then take all the photos you want!

This shop has THE BEST t-shirts in Venice Beach, by far!!!! They have proven to be high quality and the prints last wash after wash. I have shopped here many times over the past decade and buy many of Unknown Artist t-shirts for gifts! I tend to focus on the product when I shop and not the people who work in the store. However, with that said, I am quite surprised by some of the previous reviews. I am always greeted as soon as I walk into the shop, have always found the employees to be very helpful and the owners are exceptionally friendly and engaging! They work really hard to put out great designs and unique products, so I suspect that they are protective over copyright infringements (as I noticed many "NO PHOTOS" signs). I highly recommend Unknown Artist for your Venice Beach souvenir t-shirts and their unique, hand printed designs.

Super friendly staff selling the only cool clothes on the Venice Beach Boardwalk. Don't worry if you missed buying while you were there; shop their etsy store! They will list anything your little heart desires. LOVE this place.
