A wonderful find and hidden gem! This was my first time trying Soba noodles and I can definitively say I’m hooked. I ordered the Osaka soba noodles and a tempura plate. Both dishes were delicious and didn’t leave me feeling heavy afterwards either. Also a special shout-out to their soba noodles that are not only nutritious and delicious but also organic.
The staff added to the amazing experience I had here. Our waiter (Seiko) was so nice and helpful with our questions. The manager was so kind and funny and created such a warm, welcoming environment for a new customer like myself. I can’t rave enough about this restaurant.
A relatively new and understated gem in Sawtelle! This place specializes in soba (buckwheat noodles), tempura, and rice bowls. The soba came with toppings and a very flavorful dipping sauce / broth, and the tempura was excellent. Since the noodles are low in oil and nutritious, you can leave feeling relatively light and healthy.
The restaurant staff are also friendly and made a very warm and inviting atmosphere in the restaurant. The manager has a great sense of humor, and our waitress (Seiko) was a pleasure to talk with. I'll definitely be coming back!
Buckwheat noodles are nutritiously dense. They are light and refreshing in the dipping sauce. They are great of you're looking for a filling meal that isn't too heavy. The restaurant is comfortable, and the staff are prompt and courteous. Be sure to get a soba drink at the end of the meal, as it's a pleasant and also nutritious way to settle in after eating. 10/10 will go again.
An undiscovered gem! We went here because we like soba and other places in the area were busy and it was the best food decision in a long time: authentic soba, great tempura, and excellent service! We’re definitely coming back!
Very delicious, generous portions. Try the Osaka for a hearty and meaty broth, and the Genova for a truly unique soba with Italian flavors.
