Palace Barber Shop

Mark is about as real as they come. He took note of my area code when I called and greeted my as the "man from Connecticut" when I entered. We had spoken about my cut for a quick second on the phone and he'd already had all of instruments needed lined up and ready to go. Mark knows his stuff and is perfect if you're looking for a genuine, no-frills experience and some very real conversation. A refreshing change of pace from the many hollow smiles one finds in the city. I would absolutely return whenever in town!

He's older than he looks, but has to be the best haircut I've had in decades. Don't waste your money on any chain-store trim factory. This guy just knows...

I can sorta understand the negative reviews, but I actually like this guy. He is on time in the morning (more than I can say for another nearby barber who on more than one occasion was over an hour and a half late) and is friendly. My cut is basic, so I can't speak to his fancy styling skills.

This is a barber shop for men, preferably old school with old school cuts. If you need something fancy, you might want to go elsewhere rather than inflict your values via bitter Google reviews
