Some of the best barbecue I have ever had hands down best cornbread ever thanks to my husband and Chef moose you guys are awesome
Really good! Stopped by last weekend and had the tritip, the elote and the Cornbread. All was great. Waitress was friendly and service was good. Recommend!
I love the BBQ here! In my opinion, it's better than many of the other “famous” BBQ places in L.A. This is a Filipino-influenced BBQ which *is* different than Texas-style BBQ - and perhaps it's why I prefer it. I'm no expert, but Filipino BBQ seems sweeter, and the sauces are not necessarily tomato-based, but perhaps soy/banana-based. Whatever the case, I'm sold!
Highly recommended are the pulled pork, beef tri-tip and Mama Leah's coconut beef. The cornbread? Out of this world! Great service - the people who work there are very friendly.
Great food! The cornbread was the best I have ever had. The ribs and pulled pork were smoky and flavorful. The house made bbq sauce was so good and slightly spicy. The mac and cheese was perfect, super cheesy and gooey and tons of flavor. Good spot to eat before a Dodger's game. The staff were all very friendly.
Came here based off a suggestion, and even though it was towards the end of the day and most people left, the service was still impressively spot on and caring/friendly.
We ordered a bunch of everything and liked most things. The only thing I will say is that some of the meat tasted dry, but it did come with a side of dipping sauce. Maybe if the meat was marinated or braised it wouldn't be as bland? But nonetheless everything else had flavour.
Would recommend and come back for that corn bread and corn elote!
