  I have been to many studios over the past ten years and none have come close to the magic of The Doghouse Studio. The outside patio is absolutely stunning! There is a level of detail that was put into every single section of the studio that is unmatched. You can tell that so much love and passion was put into the space. The aesthetic and energy perfect for our artists and truly inspiring everyone that was working. Rodger, the studio owner, is one of the most gracious, kind, and accommodating studio owners. We booked the studio for a week straight and then again for other sessions. Excellent variety of mic pres, mics, amps, and outboard gear. Everything was setup for my team and I exactly as we requested. In addition, his recommended engineer was excellent and I still work with him when in LA. It was such a pleasure to do business with Rodger and I look forward to continued work together in the future!

  The Doghouse Studio is a killer place to record- Top notch music production, ambience & at the helm is pro monster drummer Rodger Carter, the nicest guy in the world. I highly recommend this place!

  This is an incredibly nice studio. The main room gets a sound that's both lively and tight, no slap, no standing waves, with plenty of deadwalls to further customize and isolate. It's known for being a drum / percussion-oriented place, but I'll be taking my next horn session there as well, strings also, and I'm looking for an excuse to bring a live rhythm section date in here---maybe my own stuff instead of a client's?---because it's perfect for it.
  Great outboard and front end, great mics, and Zack, the kid who engineered for us on the drum date, is the sharpest engineer I've worked with. He read my mind and was perpetually one step ahead of me---I could concentrate on directing the creativity of the cats instead of worrying about the technical.
  Also, not for nothing, the grounds and the vibe are SUPER cool and inviting. Just a chill, laid-back environment that seems oriented toward getting you in the right space to get a good flow, while handling logistics and tech so that it's out of your way.
  It's my new go-to place.

  Crème de la crème. Studio gives amazing scenery/aesthetics with the beautiful outside lobby area and attention to small details & the recording room is immaculate. One of the few places I’ve been that has actual vintage Neves, that are just next level! Highly recommend!!!
