“I've been going to see La Donna for over 10 years at her various locations. She is AMAZING, gentle and very well versed in "clean eating" and living. The services are painless (just occasional pressure) and odorless. I highly recommend her and I've sent at least a dozen customers to her over the years and they all say the same thing. She also does ear candle-ling. She is professional and we've never had any issues. Best of all, it's a reimbursable expense with most insurance plans under "holistic medicine"!”

“I lived at the Victoria location for aprox. 10 years. During that time my mother became ill with Cancer and passed in 2012. During her treatment and weak state, she was unable to care for her pet and the owners allowed me to bring the dog to my place. My neighbor Andrea cared for her while I had to temporarily move back in with my mother for hospice and transitional care. I am grateful for the "GRACE" given to me by the owner. His son Brian was also a great support. I moved in 2013 from Mar Vista, but if I ever had to go back to apartment living, I would go back to Superlative!”

“I love this school. I have attended it for 8 years. To describe it is almost impossible, but I will try. This school is literally one of my favorite places on earth, this school is the happiest place on earth, and it will always be in my heart FOREVER, my future kids WILL attend it. Every single person in this school, teacher or student has a great and loving personality, also the positivity is amazing in this school, this school is basically a huge family, we have spirit days, dances, and so many other great things. I definitely recommend this school to any family, looking for a great school where they will excel in academics, social skills, and positivity.”

“I brought my 1971 Westphalia Camper to Oscar and his crew after it had sat for more than 20 years. They took care of all of the mechanical problems with expertise and exceptional care. Five stars is not enough to express my satisfaction and appreciation for the work performed and the attention to detail provided. Everyone at the shop provided that extra effort that is so lacking these days. The cost was extremely reasonable and he has made a client for life. I recommend his shop without reservation for those of us with air cooled Volkswagens.”

“Cute liquor store, the guys who work there are really respectful and they don't over charge up the ass like a couple other liquor stores around. Pretty good alcohol section and good snacks. The ice cream section has saved my life during this heat”

“I went in to Demonns Bike Shop close to closing time unsure if they even had what I needed. I was greeted immediately and put at ease with the way the employee seemed to know what I needed before I could even pull the bike tire out of my backpack. He had the work that took me 30 minutes to do done before I could pull the payment out of my wallet. To top it all off, the whole thing was well below what I thought it would cost. The guys running the place also treated me more like a friend than a customer, which I appreciated as much as anything else. The next time I need anything at all for a bicycle, this will be the only place I'll need to go. I highly recommend Demonns to anyone looking for anything bike related!”

“What is there to say about VKC? It's like reviewing.. water. You use it all the time, don't think of it much, and probably take it for granted. But VKC deserves some credit for the many memories you'll develop here. Many liberal arts classes call VKC home. I took language classes (Chinese and Korean) here, as well as a history class and several others I'm not remembering right now. The building is unlocked at night, so you can come in after 7 or so to study. Plenty of other people have the same idea, though, especially around finals, so you may have to look elsewhere. There's always the library. You can also book rooms here for student organizations; it's a popular location given the availability of rooms and the proximity to freshman dorms. Somewhere in the late 2000s or early 2010s they upgraded the furniture to comfortable, ergonomic chairs and clean white desks. They're very comfortable. Unfortunately, many of the rooms aren't large enough to accommodate the furniture. VKC was built when USC had far fewer students and, let's be honest, obesity has increased quite a bit since then. The facilities aren't exactly spectacular. The building feels worn-out, and the arches dated. The globe tower is a symbol of USC, though, and it's a nice way to get your bearings when you're lost in your first days of freshman year. Even if you're studying engineering, you'll probably spend time here working on your General Education requirements. You might as well enjoy it.”
