So I would go back whenever I felt the stress of my work and life getting in the way of my mobility. When you first get to the small office, they lay you on a rolling table with heated pads so that by the time you get to your appointment, you're relaxed enough that there is no forcing an adjustment. His adjustments are quick and painless...and I'm not generally comfortable with chiropractic. I really like Dr. Hall and his staff. I moved way out of the area, but when I come for a visit, he is on my list of must-do's!”

“Dr. Nik and all the staff at LA Dental Experts are wonderful. I have severe dental anxiety and hadn't been to the dentist in quite a while due to prior bad experiences, insurance issues, and then the pandemic. I am so happy to have found Dr. Nik! Scheduling online is a breeze and the email and text reminders for appointments are super helpful. The atmosphere is so calming (and so clean and bright!) with a view of rustling trees through the windows, soothing music, and nature videos on the screen in front of you. Dr. Nik is so relaxed and makes you feel very comfortable and that you are in good hands. No pressure to do everything all at once and all the work that I had done was excellent. He is seriously an artist when it came to some bonding I needed done on my front tooth I could not be more impressed. He also checks in often on your comfort level which I very much appreciate. If you are on the fence and looking to reviews for confirmation that this is the right choice (which is exactly where I was just months ago) then you should definitely go for it. I am so glad that I did!”

“I see other people complain but this really is a great dollar plus store. It's been family owned for years and they even survived a terrible fire years ago. I always get good items, such as produce, canned foods, at supplies, home cleaning and care supplies, auto supplies. I've been shopping here since I was a teen. I have a rolling luggage that was $20 from there. Other stores would charge $50 for the luggage I purchased. Plus I've had it for 5 years now and it's still in good working condition. Also leave the Korean Cashier woman alone. She's owned this place with her family for years. She works very hard long hours. They all do! This store has out lasted the fallen grocery store that the neighborhood has depended on. We are glad and lucky to still have this dollar plus store!”

“What a wonderful experience. More people should know about it.This church is so important to Los Angeles and Wilmington history. It was built in 1883 and is one of the oldest continuous services in the harbor area. The Banning family founded the St. John's Episcopal church in 1882. It was originally built on Canal Street and Avalon. In 1943 the church was moved to its location 1537 Neptune Avenue in Wilmington. There are several beautiful antique stained-glass windows in the church, one in memory of General Phineas Banning. The bell in the cupola is from the SS Cricket. The altarpiece is a fine specimen of Catalina marble. The church is a Historical Cultural Monument # 47. The church is a modest, stave-type church of Colonial architecture.”

“Their wolf mother burger was amazing! I only wish it was bigger. It felt like it was a slider. I could have easily ate one or two more of them. I'll probably come back for another one. The fish and chips was good. The fries had a good texture to them. We ordered two different whiskey drinks. Their version of a whiskey sour that uses honey was very good. But their whiskey mule was not amazing. Solid Irish pub for sure. If anything a little pricey. But I guess it comes with the neighborhood.”
