“You can expect to feel the Holy Spirit here if you're willing to. Great place to worship and praise the Lord's name! Spanish services but sometimes the youth here will have English services as well. Friday, Saturday, Sundays we rejoice in God's name and Wednesday we have prayer.”

“My Aunt had developed many different ailments and sicknesses by the end of her life and was living a miserably difficult life. We didn’t know what to do in any way shape or form, until we met the staff at In the Arms of Grace. The staff was very punctual and gentle and gracious with my aunt and with me too. They were always on time and communicated with us perfectly. Up until her very last day Suzy and Ruzanna and Gevorg were extremely intent on keeping her comfortable and us informed. I can’t say enough for how compassionate this company was every single step of the way. I highly recommend them for any end of life care scenario.”

“After experiencing many facilities when my Daddy was transitioning from the hospital to his home, we have a great understanding of which facilities are truly a dangerous place to be. However, New Vista is the one place we trust and are very happy with. The staff make this place what it is! :) We are very impressed. Now, my disabled brother in law has been a resident for 2.5 years now. He is very honest and tells us if he is happy with the care or not. He says he is very well taken care of every time we ask. My husband and I say this is the best place and everytime we do a surprise visit, he is clean and happy. The place has no smell and is very clean. Thank you for taking such great care of Onni!! We are so blessed and grateful for all you do for him.”

“I started my Yoga training with Alison as a suggestion of my wife. Being unfamiliar with yoga myself this was an opportunity for a much needed healthier and more active lifestyle restart for me. At the very first meeting with Alison she recognized my level and adapted her classes to help me feel confident and move through poses with ease. She leads the flow giving clear and detailed instructions and I improve my strength and energy levels at the end of each session. I continue my training during COVID lockdown with Alison’s Virtual classes. I was surprised to find out how flawless and structured these online sessions actually are. I would recommend Alison Burmeister Yoga Classes to everyone who would like to bring a significant change to both his body and mind under the professional guidance of a highly skilled and experienced instructor with an inspiring personality and individual approach to each of her clients.”

“Burbank Auto Electric has been my only mechanic shop for 25 years. Hatch and his team are honest and get the job done quickly. They explain the work that's needed using layman's terms for people who aren't mechanics or car savvy (I'm certainly not). I've never once felt overcharged, this is a place where I trust the people doing the work. Having a reliable mechanic is so important ~ you don't return if you don't feel 100% about the service done in the past. I've referred numerous people to Burbank Auto Electric and will continue to do so without hesitation.”

“I am a return customer. The first time I paid a visit it was for an alignment and 2 quality used tires. I found out that they do details so I returned for a detail on my carbon fiber hood and fenders. They did a great job. They are now my one stop shop for oil changes, tires, details, suspension, and wheels. The owner Martin is a great guy. The employee Jerry really knows what he is doing. Nice shop that will grow with time.”

“Took Amtrak from LA Union Station to Solana Beach in San Diego. It took about 2 hours and was a pleasant trip! You can purchase tickets online, leave your car at Union Station (I believe $8 all day), and board from the platform onto the second floor (first floor is for handicap and other special exceptions). The train has a bathroom (not the cleanest but not terrible and it has bathroom seat covers so that made it all great), a wall charger for the one sitting closest to the wall, WIFI, the chair reclines, foot rest, and a tray table. The train also has an area you can purchase food and drink from if you need it. It's best to arrive about 15-20 min early to be able to claim a good seat on the train. We chose the window seat to view the beautiful ocean after passing Irvine and the rest of the trip to Solana Beach! The train usher who checked our tickets was super cheery and helpful! He was an older gentleman and very well suited for his job! I heard him let some people know where their exit was and let a family know that a person was leaving next stop and that the ocean view was coming up so he would move them to the window seat to see it all! The only part I didn't like was returning on the train from Solana Beach to Union Station at 7pm-ish and there were about 20+ rowdy and drunk people coming from the horse races. I heard cops were downstairs with them so that was good they were being monitored but they initially walked through the second floor trying to find seats. They were insanely loud and some of them stumbled upon the chairs. I know this cannot be prevented as public transportation includes a lot of inevitable variables. Concerning Union Station, they have a random aquarium near the bathrooms and entrance, it’s gotten semi cleaner but still has urine smell when walking through the halls, and there are plenty staff available to help. Still many homeless inside and outside. But the abundance of staff at Union Station shows some order.”
