  This location has always been a favourite
  of mine from way way back. It has been the Marmalade Cafe for quite some time but it hasnt always been. I was not disappointed too much when it changed to the Marmalade as this chain has always been a good 'go to'.
  It has been years since I've been back here but the decor, service and food were pretty much still the same. All really good! Honestly, the food wasn't as heartwarming as I remembered it being though it was still very good. It was just one of those times that I was so stoked to see that the place hadn't changed over and that it was still there and I guess I expected everything to be exactly the same. It looked the same but l had my heart set on the granola which was smaller and simpler than I remember it being and not quite as tastey. The coffee was excellent as was the service. Prices are a tad higher mainly because its Malibu. Probably not worth the price for the food alone but it is worth the experience and for me, just being there brought back many happy memories.

  Favorite lunch hideaway. Food is always hot and delicious. Service is fast and friendly. No problem with substitutions or special requests. You can stick around as long as you like and will even give you a refill on your beverage to go. Best Marmalade in the chain.

  Love taking my wife here. It’s our go to breakfast spot. It gets busy quickly so I recommend going early. I recommend the Avocado toast or the Oak Smoked Salmon both are delicious!

  Love the place, excellent food, have visited 3 times during my recent LA trip and was impressed. Very tasty food, had the enchiladas with chicken. Omg, so good! Pasta portion huge, lunch portion would have been plenty. The waitress regognized us at the last visit and we chatted a bit before we left. Will come again for sure!

  Try their gourmet chili which I tried. The cornbread muffin included is a real treat. My wife loves their artichoke which is hard to find. Sometimes you run into someone interesting since the Malibu location is near The Colony and beach entrance. For breakfast, lunch or dinner you will get a fresh wholesome experience of quality good tasting food.
