  A regular park is turned into "Xmas magic". Beautiful lights, show, and snacks. Highly recommended for kids. Also: inside photo opportunity for kids with a snowman. I loved it.

  Marina Del Rey Christmas Boat Parade is why we went today. It is a very nice area for watching the boats decorated with Christmas lights, trees, inflatables, characters, elves, snowmen, carolers, etc. pass by as they loop around the Marina several times. This gives everyone an opportunity to find a good spot to take photographs. Parking was the hardest part of the evening because we arrived right at 6.p.m. when the show started. There were fireworks at 5:55 p.m. and events throughout the day. I am definitely happy to have visited the Marina today.

  It's a great place to spend time with family. There is water on all sides. The views are fantastic. The parking lot is right next to park.

  This lovely little park in Marina Del Rey is run by LA County Recreation and Parks Dept. and bordered on three sides by water. Two of these sides are guest docks supplying mostly side ties, water, and electricity to visiting boaters. Rates are reasonable and the office is open late seven days a week. The park itself is lovely with well kept grassy areas, lots of trees, picnic areas, BBQ stoves, and sun shades. The walking paths are well maintained. Parking close by is limited and metered. There us a pay for it parking lot about a block away.

  Destination for walks with the peaceful sounds of seagulls, boats bobbing in water while strolling up marina sidewalk. There are several pergolas to hang out providing shade and tables to have picnic lunch. Summertime shows at water edge. Sweet experience. Bring a chair, a blanket. They have 2 screens now, one next to stage, the other on east side when seating in front of stage room runs low. If you can get a seat in front of sidewalk, it's better. Folks always walking around will block your view if you sit behind. Bring layers, even on hot summer day it's really cold at night when Sun drops. Take the waterbus there from west side of marina or parking lot at Ralph's or lots on the street to the park. Summer 2018 some construction going in. This too shall pass. Highly recommended. True Los Angeles experience if you are a visitor, it's what you came here for. If you live here, it's what you came here for...
